Directions For Use and Dosages

For preparation of clay in Refractory & Ceramic works, Acid resisting Bricks, Tiles Stoneware pipes & fitting works and other Pottery works –

Method: 1/2 Ltr. CLAYMIX dissolved in 200 Ltrs. of plain water, to be used as liquid binder

For ordinary clay materials –

Method: 200 ml. CLAYMIX dissolved in 200 Itrs. of plain water and used as liquid binder for preparation of clay for manufacturing products such as Red Bricks, Roof Tiles, Ordinary Clay Earthenware's, Terra-Cotta etc.

Use of CLAYMIX in Ceramic Industries

Method for Bone China based products: 150 ml CLAYMIX dissolved in 100 ltrs. of plain water and used as solution binder.

Method for Ash-less Bone China based products - 100 ml CLAYMIX dissolved in 100 ltrs. of plain water and used as solution binder.

Recommendation: No Other Chemicals Should be used with "CLAYMIX" to adjust the slip Viscosity or fluidity of the slip, any adjustment should be made by controlling the quantity of the added solution of "CLAYMIX " for e.g.

A. During rainy season, due to high percentage of humidity in atmosphere around 2% to 4% less solution will be required. Similarly during summer (May-June) around 2% to 4% more solution will be required.

B. For preparation of glaze 0.05% solution of "CLAYMIX " to be used, i.e. 50 mls. of "CLAYMIX" dissolved in 100 ltrs. of plain water.
