Application Procedure ;
1. Surface Preparation:- Clean the surface thoroughly using a wire brush or high-pressure water jet to remove dust, grease, algae, and loose particles. - Ensure the surface is sound and free from moisture or standing water. - Repair cracks up to 3 mm with polymer-modified mortar or crack filler.
2. Priming: - Prepare a primer by diluting Safecrete Roof Coat with clean water in a 2:1 ratio. - Apply one coat of primer and allow it to dry for 4–6 hours.
3. Waterproofing Coats: - Stir the product thoroughly before use. - Apply the first coat of Safecrete Roof Coat undiluted using a brush, roller, or spray. - Allow 6–8 hours drying time. - Apply the second coat perpendicular to the first. - For critical areas, a third coat may be applied after 24 hours. 4. Coverage: - Approx. 1.5–2.0 m²/litre/coat, depending on surface texture and porosity. Precautions & Safety: - Apply between 10°C to 30°C - Do not apply during rain or on damp surfaces. - Use gloves and eye protection during application. - Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight. - Not recommended for areas with continuous water immersion.
